Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what information Slabmark collects from visitors of slabmark.com, how it is used, and the choices you have. It applies only to this website and the services Slabmark operates here.

Effective date: 2026-08-25. Last updated: 2026-08-25.

1. Information Slabmark collects and how it asks for it

Slabmark receives information through two channels: (a) the Free Estimate Audit form on slabmark.com, and (b) direct communication when you reach out to Slabmark by email, telephone, SMS/text, or voicemail (see section 6 for details on how those channels are used to follow up).

When you submit the Free Estimate Audit form, Slabmark collects the following fields, in this order:

The form’s submit button is labeled “Get My Free Estimate Audit”. The form footer states that, by submitting, you agree Slabmark may contact you by phone or email about your requested audit, and that there is no obligation to purchase.

2. Automatically collected page-view data

When you load any page on slabmark.com, the site fires a single, very small 1×1 image request (a page-view ping) to the Polsia analytics beacon at polsia.com. No JavaScript tracker, session-replay script, or event library is loaded. The beacon does not set analytics cookies.

The beacon carries only a random visitor ID (polsia_vid) stored in your browser’s local storage (not a cookie, not a browser fingerprint). This ID is used only to count distinct page views over time and is not linked to anything you submit through the Free Estimate Audit form or through direct communication.

Slabmark describes this identifier as pseudonymous: it is a single, stable, randomly generated value with no name, no email address, and no account attached to it. Slabmark does not set any cookies of its own. The only browser storage used on this site is the polsia_vid local-storage key described above. Clearing it through your browser’s site-data settings generates a new random ID on your next visit.

3. How Slabmark uses information

Information from the Free Estimate Audit form is used to review and respond to your request — to contact you about your audit (by phone, email, SMS/text, or voicemail, as described in section 6), to prepare notes for follow-up based on the trade, service area, and project notes you provided, and to deliver the recommendations you asked for. Slabmark also keeps a record of the inquiry so it can refer back to it during follow-up and over the life of the relationship.

Pseudonymous page-view data from the analytics beacon is used only in the aggregate, to understand how visitors arrive at and move through the site.

4. Who Slabmark shares information with

Slabmark does not sell or rent personal information, and Slabmark does not share personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. No third-party advertising, remarketing, or marketing trackers are loaded on this site.

The only parties that process information from slabmark.com fall into the following verified categories:

5. Storage, retention & security

Free Estimate Audit submissions and contact inquiries are stored in a Postgres database on the Polsia platform. One notification email per audit submission is stored by the email provider described in section 4.

Information is retained only as reasonably necessary to respond to requests, communicate with prospects, provide services, maintain appropriate business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud or abuse, and protect Slabmark’s rights. Information may be deleted or anonymized when it is no longer reasonably necessary for those purposes. Slabmark does not commit to an automatic deletion schedule.

The site is served over HTTPS. Slabmark uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information from unauthorized access, use, alteration, or destruction. These include access controls, encrypted transport, monitoring, and operational practices appropriate to the size and nature of the business. No system is perfectly secure, and Slabmark cannot guarantee absolute security of information.

6. Communications

When you submit a Free Estimate Audit request, or otherwise reach out to Slabmark, Slabmark may contact you about your inquiry by telephone, SMS/text, voicemail, or email. This may include leaving a voicemail at the number you provided.

Message and data rates may apply to any SMS/text messages you receive.

Slabmark uses Google Voice (business line (910) 364-9468) for these communications, and uses them only for one-to-one SMS/text messaging initiated or reasonably expected by the recipient — for example, responding to a Free Estimate Audit request, inquiry, service request, appointment, follow-up, or other business communication the recipient started or invited.

Slabmark does not currently send automated marketing text messages, bulk SMS, promotional SMS campaigns, scheduled marketing texts, or automated SMS lead sequences.

You may ask Slabmark to stop contacting you at any time, including by replying STOP to a text message where applicable, by replying to an email, or by emailing hello@slabmark.com.

7. Your choices, access, correction, and deletion

slabmark.com does not offer user accounts or a self-service dashboard. To request a copy of the information Slabmark holds about you, to correct it, or to ask that Slabmark delete it, email hello@slabmark.com from the address associated with your submission. Slabmark may take reasonable steps to verify the identity of the requester before acting on a request, to protect the requester and prevent unauthorized access or changes to their information. Slabmark will respond within a reasonable time.

Information may be retained where required or permitted by legal obligations, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of agreements, even after a deletion request.

8. Children’s privacy

slabmark.com is intended for adults. It is not directed to children under 13, and Slabmark does not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted information through the Free Estimate Audit form, please email hello@slabmark.com so Slabmark can delete it.

9. Links to other sites

slabmark.com does not currently embed or link to third-party sites as part of its core user experience.

If Slabmark adds third-party links or embeds in the future, those sites will have their own privacy practices, which are not covered by this policy.

10. Changes to this policy

Slabmark may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When Slabmark does, the “Last updated” date at the top of this page will change. Slabmark encourages you to review this page periodically. If a change affects information already collected, Slabmark will provide additional notice or obtain consent as required by applicable law.
